March Birthdays 3.26th

Drew (26th), Kim (31st) and I (25th) have birthdays in March so we celebrate together.  Everyone else prepares the party and then in June we prepare the party for Lindy, Molly and Rory! It was a fun day with lots of food (lasagna!) and German Chocolate Cake!!!  Sue came down and joined us in a Wii tournament. Here's a hint - don't play swords against Kyla!  She is good!

CKC-Portland

Lindy and I had a good time in Portland.  We found Home Goods. What a great store for home decorating. We had an evening class on the 24th, a techniques class that was sponsored by the vendors. It was okay - nothing too new to us. We took two classes on Friday, a Heartfelt card class and the Latest and Greatest from Embellish it. We shopped the vendor faire but with Lindy's new venture of her online store, shopping was not as exciting.  We did see some things that we would like to order though. Poor Maple

Where has the time gone?  Whew!  I am behind on several photgraphic projects like Project Life. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Kyla and I pruned (or killed) the maple in front, raked leaves and started cleaning up the front flower beds.  I also finished the 2006 family album!!! It is actually in two albums.  That is what happens when there is a new baby in the family!

Flyer

This is a flyer for Lindy's table at the FBLA crop on Saturday. I've been busy making those bundles of twine.

It was 54 degrees today!

It was another park day, of course! It was a park day while the cookie dough chilled in the refrigerator and the park is on the way to the grocery store where they keep the powdered sugar for cookie frosting!

My granddaughter and I went to the Park today. I am icing my shoulder. I found I have forgotten how to skip rocks. But I tried, maybe a little too hard!

Improvement? Unity Heart Challenge

Given enough time and thought, I can usually improve on a project.  Here is an updated version of my first card.  I popped up the cake layers and the cake plate and added stickles.
