This is a birthday card for my granddaughter, Kyla. Can you tell that the flourishes pop-up when you open the card?
I have had a couple of questions about how I made this pop-up so I will link you up with the Sizzix-Karen Burniston designed die!

Unity's FWF 10.25.2013

This is the first time that I have inked up this stamp! I love Phyllis Harris stamps! I love autumn!
Factoid alert: of the 25 days of this month we have had fog 22 of the days!  It is crazy fall here - and not very warm. But it is better than the usual rain!
So a fall card for this week because that is where my head is!

Sorry the crackle paint is not quite dry!

Happy weekend!

It Is Crystal Clear Now!

This is a birthday card for my niece. I wanted to try using a transparency with Karen Burniston's Accordian Flip Album and Frame and Label Dies. I love this technique. I used Maggie Holmes Collection for Crate Paper. I also used Tim Holtz's Simple Sayings stamp (Happy Birthday and label) and Stazon "Azure" ink.

Creative Chemistry 102 Day 5

Day 5 is Embossing Effects

The first project is Rusting with embossing powder. Here is my effort!

Technique 2 is Sticky Powder with Glitter!

Technique 3 is Sticky Powder with Leafing!
Since I don't have leafing I used the glitter transfer paper.

And here are the last three tags!

Tag #4 is the Shabby Chic technique.
#5 is Tarnished Silver.
#6 is the Chalkboard technique.

I am sad that it is over but I have loved Creative Chemistry 102. Anyone can take the class it will always be available in Tim Holtz's website.

Flying Easel Cards

Here are two Flying Easel Cards that I learned to make from Karen Burniston

The first is a birthday card for my daughter.

I used Heidi Swapp's Sugar Chic paper collection.

The note is on the little card in the envelope.

This Halloween card
was made with Graphic 45 paper and Sizzix dies - Square Card with Ornate Edge 3D Pop-Up, Majestic Labels and the spider from Spider and Spiderweb 3D Pop-Up.  I clear embossed the spider several times. The ribbon was sprayed with Heidi Swapp's Mustard Color Shine.
