But this one was very special for my dear sister.

I love this technique of embossing the image in white and then adding the color.  I mounted the leaf with foam tape on top of the stamped leaf. I am all done with my Thanksgiving cards. How about you?

Unity's Friends with Flair 4.18.14

 I needed a couple of anniversary cards this month and I have wanted to try the box cards from Lori Whitlock (where I also linked up!).  I cut these from a Silhouette file and added more flowers from the Sizzix Stamp & Die-cut "Garden Flowers" set.

The really surprising thing about these cards is they fold flat and fit into an A2 envelope!!!!

I wrote my greeting on a flap that will be showing when you take it out of the envelope.

I used a stamp from Unity's "You Did It" itty bitty.

It rained 1 inch today (at least it wasn't snowing!)!

Unity FWF - 11.22.13

This is a birthday card for my granddaughter, Kyla. Can you tell that the flourishes pop-up when you open the card?

Unity's FWF 10.25.2013

This is the first time that I have inked up this stamp! I love Phyllis Harris stamps! I love autumn!

Factoid alert: of the 25 days of this month we have had fog 22 of the days!  It is crazy fall here - and not very warm. But it is better than the usual rain!

So a fall card for this week because that is where my head is!

Sorry the crackle paint is not quite dry!

For this label I used Hero Arts for Sizzix Stamp and Die-Cut with Tim Holtz Stampers' Anonymous Simple Sayings and Mememto Ink 

Rich Cocoa. The paper and embellies are Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry Collection.

I used Karen Burniston's Zig Zag Pop-Up and Flagpole w/Lantern & Sign by Sizzix. The bunting is Pennants by Lifestyle Crafts.

My sister needed a "Get Well" card!  Love this Phyllis Harris stamp and it was perfect for this card.

I have no idea where this PP came from! There are embellies from Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers. I used Copics and Memento ink and QuicKutz Nesting Label dies.

I love this patterned paper - "Blush" from Basic Grey. I used a Sizzix flip-it die by Stephanie Barnard and Unity's "It's Your Day" set.

The patterned paper on this card is made with the free download from Basic Grey! I used BG Curio Writer's Block for layers and for my sentiment. We have four birthdays in June so I have to get busy!

McSteven's anniversary card

Ok, so I admit that I may lose track of my scrapbook supplies. I found a Basic Grey calendar kit from 2010 that I never assembled! I decided to use it for cards and this is the first one. I love their designs!
