Friday
I miss the beach so much! Thank heavens we are having beautiful weather to take my mind off it! Now I am pushing someone to keep packing and making her final plans for lift off to Italy (not that I really want her to go!). I know that there will be no moments of panic as she leaves because all the plans are made!
Looking forward to the McMen going to Dirtfish Rally School http://www.dirtfish.com/ (you just gotta love http://www.groupon.com/) and the McWomen doing something fun next week!

FWF and Sketch Challenge
This is my Friends with Flair entry. I love my Unity Stamps and their big sale that is going on now!
This is how I made the flower:
Because my patterned paper was not double sided, I cut two flowers out (Spellbinders die-Nested Flower-I used the medium and small die) for each layer and glued them back to back. There are two layers of the larger petals (4 flowers) and two layers of the smaller petals (4 flowers). When cutting them out with the die, the flowers would match better if you cut one with the patterned side up and one with it down then glued them together. I inked the edges and curled them around a pencil!
Here is the Sketch for the Sketch Challenge:

Goodbye Rachel :-(
A friend of my daughter's is going to Africa for a year! Her parents gave her a going away barbeque and requested that we bring letters for Rachel to open when she gets homesick. So here are the cards that I made for my daughter to write notes.
