I tried the new Dip Dye technique for the background - it is definitely something I will keep practicing!

Sunny Skies

We are going to have sun for the next week!  Here in the Pacific Northwest

it is very exciting!!!

I thought this card would be perfect for the week!!! The background was made with Ranger's Embossing Dabber, Stampendous White Embossing Powder, My Favorite Things Cloudy Day stencil and a couple of Distress Inks. I used Lawn Fawn's "Sunny Skies" for the elements and sentiment.

I had the perfect occasion to send someone a little pick-me-up.  This cute image does just that! The 

stamp is Heart Bouquet.

I used American Crafts "Dear Lizzy" patterned paper and Copics to color it.

Playing along with My Favorite Stamps Shakers!

I am still playing with the  My Favorite Things Circle Scribble Flowers set.  I wanted to play along with MFT's Shaker Cards.  This was not as easy as I thought it would be. It was not as easy lining up the stamps with the die cut flowers. And I wanted to add the stamp with the flower outline as an afterthought. I tried white opaque Stazon on the  transparency but it was transparent not opaque. So I used Uni-Ball Signo white pen and it came out a little shakey. Oh well, it was fun putting it together!!!!

 The stamp and die set is Lawn Fawn's Eggstra Special. The window die is My Favorite Things

Square Grid cover-up. The fence and grass are by Lawn Fawn. The cloud is from the Sunny Skies 

set by Lawn Fawn.

I have been having so much fun with My Favorite Things "Circle Scribble Flowers".

There are two sets of dies that match the stamps so there are endless possibilites for cards! I also used

Lawn Fawn's Grass die and Scripty Sayings.
