Water Color Fuschia and Butterfly

AAahh..... the end of the weekend.... :-(
I thought I would post one more card......

This is a Technique Tuesday stamp called Fuschia. I stamped it with Ranger Archival Ink on Strathmoore Cold Press paper. I used Tombow Dual Brush marker ink and a waterbrush to color the image. This color combination in the real plant world is called "Dark Eyes" and was my mom's favorite fuschia. I added Pretty Pink Posh's sequins and droplets. The butterfly is from Lawn Fawn's Critters in the 'Burbs set. I used My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics.

Thanks for stopping by!

Father's Day 2015

My husband has been camping lately.  He loves to sit back and just enjoy nature.  So here is the perfect stamp for him! We have two Dachshund sisters that we rescued last year. They came to us wearing purple and pink harnesses so we could tell them apart. I colored their stamped sweaters those colors. They came to us over weight so the rule was no human food. Guess who they know to be an easy mark for a treat?

So cute - Judy and Julie!!!

Sunny Skies

We are going to have sun for the next week!  Here in the Pacific Northwest

it is very exciting!!!

I thought this card would be perfect for the week!!! The background was made with Ranger's Embossing Dabber, Stampendous White Embossing Powder, My Favorite Things Cloudy Day stencil and a couple of Distress Inks. I used Lawn Fawn's "Sunny Skies" for the elements and sentiment.

Playing along with My Favorite Stamps Shakers!

I am still playing with the  My Favorite Things Circle Scribble Flowers set.  I wanted to play along with MFT's Shaker Cards.  This was not as easy as I thought it would be. It was not as easy lining up the stamps with the die cut flowers. And I wanted to add the stamp with the flower outline as an afterthought. I tried white opaque Stazon on the  transparency but it was transparent not opaque. So I used Uni-Ball Signo white pen and it came out a little shakey. Oh well, it was fun putting it together!!!!

Whoop! Whoop! Let's Hear It For the Guest Hopper!!!

I am so excited to have won the Unity {be inspired} Challenge! One of the prizes (besides a BOAT LOAD OF STAMPS) is a chance to be a Guest blog hopper! So here goes.....

The Hop starts here on Thursday 2.26 with the Unity Blog.

I have a few cards to share with you.

This is the "birdie conversation" set. I colored the birdie with Copics and used Distress ink for the background. The patterned paper is American crafts and I die cut it using Stitched Rectangles and Squares.

The stamp is Donna Downey "poppies". The sentiment is from "Everything Easter". I watercolored with Distress Ink for this card after heat embossing with white embossing powder.

This is the front of the card and below is the inside. I used "Love Brings You Home".

I used the "J{our}ney" stamp from the "Explore. Discover. Escape." stamp set.
The background stamp is a map of Rome from Hero Arts.  The frame and stamp is from Sizzix. This card is for a friend's engagement. She is a world traveler!

This is the "Welcome to the Hood" set. Thanks to Angeline Choo for the inspiration! When I saw her cute card I knew I had to have that stamp!

I used Unity sentiments for this card.
I used "#Hashtag Kit", "Elephant Behind", and a "Age is Only a Number". This is my husband's birthday card. We have two black and tan, long-haired dachshunds, hence the coloring of the dog. The image on the inside of the card (the back end of the dog) wiggles like it is wagging her tail!

Thanks for being with me today. Thanks to Unity for always supporting their customers. They are the most giving company around!

It Moose Be Love II !!

I had to try this again. I wanted to work on my trees and the masking technique and to place a moose in the PeekaBoo to make more sense about the love of one moose to another.

Such fun to make!
